On Monday, Ezra Furman played his first of four solo acoustic shows at Schubas. He will be playing again for the next three Mondays – November 1st, 8th and 15th. You can get your tickets here. Ezra claims he won’t play the same song at any of the shows, so buy a ticket to all of them!

The night before Thanksgiving, Ezra Furman played an acoustic set for a small group of fans at the new Lincoln Park Whole Foods. The only downside – there were no Harpoons. Overall, Whole Foods has the right idea with the use of their new space. They have an amazing bar set up for their customers, with a little stage for performances. Not only do they have plasma TVs and tons of beer on tap, they also have $2 bottles of beer – everyday – and not just Bud Light, but a really great menu including beers from Goose Island, Bell’s, 3 Floyds and Rogue. Kicking back with some beers and a great acoustic set was the perfect way to start the Thanksgiving break.
