Sunday, December 26th - 10 in ’10: Sports

To wrap up the year, I wanted to look through my photos and compile a few lists of the things I enjoy shooting. I will be posting the top 10 photos across 10 categories to close out 2010. These 10 categories will be: Books, Film, Portraits, Projects, Sports, Weddings, Cityscapes, Travel, Videos and Live Music. Last year, I made similar lists, and you can see my 9 in ’09 here.

Besides the Cubs (and let’s not talk about the Pacers), most of my favorite teams had a great year in 2010. Duke won the National Championship. Chelsea won the Premier League. The Colts made it to the Super Bowl, but came up short.

Overall, it was a fun year to be a sports fan. I was fortunate enough to see the Duke Blue Devils in action in Chicago, Durham and the grand finale in Indianapolis for the Final Four. Just in case I would ever forget this year, I took plenty of photos. And I’m going to throw in a bonus photo, because I love watching @NDotSmitty cut down nets. In fact, just check out this video (click here) or go over to the whole Flickr set of photos from Indianapolis.
