Wednesday, December 9th - Christmas Party Photo Booth
For this year’s Christmas party, we decided to set up a photo booth. I recently purchased an external flash to use with my 5D Mark II, and I figured this would be a good time to try it out with my Digital Rebel XT. I’ve been shooting for about a year with Canon cameras, but I have never used a flash before – I prefer natural or available light. This was a perfect time to set up a controlled environment that was certain to spiral out of control as the Grinch Juice began flowing. I set up a backdrop with a queen-sized sheet, set the timer to 10 seconds, bounced the flash off the ceiling and let everybody control their own photo shoot. I think we have some keepers here (you can see them all at the bottom of this post).
